Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form an agreement between you and the developer of Loopiva: Crochet for Beginners ("Loopiva", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. License to use Loopiva

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Loopiva for your own non-commercial crochet learning, subject to these Terms and the EULA. The app and its content are licensed, not sold, to you.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Loopiva offers optional Loopiva Premium subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Available plans may include weekly, annual and lifetime options, with prices shown in your local currency inside the app before you confirm.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• A lifetime purchase grants Premium access for the lifetime of the app and does not auto-renew.

Purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to the Apple Media Services Terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.

4. Free trials

Some plans may include a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price disclosed in the app. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. Special & promotional offers

We may offer discounted or promotional pricing (for example a one-time welcome offer) to eligible users. Offers are limited, may expire, and may not be combined. Eligibility and availability are determined at our discretion and by Apple.

6. Your content

If you publish content to the community (images, captions or comments), you keep ownership of it, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute it within the app for the purpose of operating the community feature. You are responsible for the content you publish and confirm you have the right to share it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post unlawful, harmful, hateful, infringing or sexually explicit content.
• Harass or impersonate others, or post spam.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the app or its backend.
• Use the AI features to create harmful, deceptive or infringing material.

We may remove content or restrict access that violates these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

Loopiva, its design, mascot, lessons, illustrations and software are protected by intellectual property laws and remain the property of their respective owners. Crochet patterns featured in the app are attributed to their original creators where applicable. You may not copy, redistribute or resell app content except as allowed by these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

Loopiva is an educational tool provided "as is" and "as available". Crochet techniques, AI suggestions and generated images are for inspiration and learning and may not be accurate or suitable for every situation. Use common sense and care when handling hooks, scissors and other tools.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms or modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend access if you breach these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the developer's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
